2025 Theatre Program
WE ARE TURNING 10!
For 10 years we have been proud to host an amazing array of live concerts, theatre, dance, comedy and countless other incredible events and we’re not slowing down. We have a HUGE year planned so let’s get this party started!
First up – acclaimed theatre company Sport For Jove are back performing Shakespeare’s gravely funny Much Ado About Nothing with dazzling wit and dangerous possibilities.
We are honoured to host the Standing Strong Band featuring Ray Dimakarri Dixon in a beautiful celebration of country, culture and language in what promises to be a very special evening of music and song.
The Necks - one of the greatest cult bands in the world will grace our stage in a special one-off performance of their sublime music.
The party is only just getting started because then we’re going to rock out with the Sons of Sun – a brilliant rock and roll play about Sun Records, with songs from Elvis, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison and more.
Did you say more? Sure! We are thrilled to have Katie Noonan and Karin Schaupp coming to perform their latest co-creation Songs of The Southern Skies Vol 2. This will be an utterly spellbinding performance.
Then for something completely different and unmissable, we are proud to host WATER MIRROR - a breathtaking fusion of Taiko percussion, dance, acrobatics and cutting-edge projections. Will our theatre be able to handle it? You bet!
Blue Mountains Musical Society are returning in 2025 with the renowned musical Come From Away and we are excited to welcome back the Blue Mountains Concert Society with four exquisite fine music events.
In this special birthday year we bring you some of Australia’s best stage plays with the Ensemble Theatre production of The Queen’s Nanny and Echo Theatre’s production of God Of Carnage.
These amazing performances are not to be missed – so much so we are offering in celebration of our 10th anniversary a THEATRE LOVERS TICKET BUNDLE!
Much-loved Blue Mountains musician Jerrah Patston will also be joining us to launch and perform his new album Abandoned Cricket Games along with a selection of fan favourites from his amazing career.
And we have PLENTY for kids (and the young at heart) too! ABC Kids stars The Beanies are coming to party with their new show Big Beanie Boogie.
We also have a new biological-musical comedy-adventure joining in the fun with You Are A Doughnut!
Looking for something a little more gentle? Imagine Live will be helping us celebrate with the most beautiful show about creativity, friendship and our precious natural world.
