Join artist Tal Fitzpatrick in a hands-on banner workshop and learn all about Craftivism.
Changemakers: Crafting a difference is an exhibition and workshop first created to coincide with the United Nations’ 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.
Featuring banners created by Tal Fitzpatrick using mostly upcycled materials, it invites visitors to join in some craftivism and learn more about how various initiatives, including action for economic empowerment, can serve to reduce or prevent violence against women.
Changemakers: Crafting a difference was developed by the Museum of Australian Democracy and is proudly supported by CommBank Next Chapter, a program helping survivors of financial abuse to achieve long-term financial independence.
