Celebrate Milestones and Memories - 40 years of Community Music

 Join Blue Mountains Concert Band and Mountains Youth Band as they perform a celebration concert to mark the 40th birthday of the band.

The concert will feature a range of popular musical items, such as Over the Rainbow, music from Phantom of the Opera and The Lion King, and the original television theme from Hawaii 5-0.

The band will be joined by members of the Governor Macquarie Memorial Pipe Band, a combination that will raise the roof of the Hub.

The performance will include a wonderful rendition of Amazing Grace with pipes and band. We also welcome to the stage a rising local star, Harry Niblett, who will perform vocal items accompanied by the band. The audience will delight in hearing Harry and the band perform The Impossible Dream and other items.

This anniversary concert will celebrate the history of community music in the Blue Mountains and its role in our cultural heritage. Come along and enjoy a marvellous evening.
